Britvic to join the My Perfect Shop app
BRITVIC is the latest leading brand to announce it is joining the My Perfect Shop app, designed to drive sales and lift profits for independent retailers.
Soft drinks supplier Britvic is now part of a select group of leading brands, including Weetabix, KETTLE chips, Birds Eye and Burtons Biscuit Company, to sign up to the Liverpool-based The Mothership Group’s free app, which was launched in September 2014. Available on both IOS and Android devices, it helps retailers into making better choices about the stock they offer to their local community, and empowers them through a reward scheme.
Lorna Davidson CEO of The Mothership Group, commented: “We’re thrilled that Britvic have recognised the impact that utilising digital technology can have in terms of opening up a direct dialogue with independent retailers to drive sales. Our unique cost-effective tool appeals to brands as it allows them to talk directly to the current 50,000 local convenience store owners in the UK, which eradicates the time and cost needed for individual store visits.”
Peter Hill Outlet Contact Strategy Manager of Britvic said: “We’re delighted to be working with My Perfect Shop in the convenience sector, and it’s refreshing to see someone doing things differently. We love the idea of embracing technology to drive distribution of our core range in this sector, and we can’t wait to see the results.”
The Mothership Group says it aims to help the independent retailer to be even more successful with incentives from leading brands that help them to stock and merchandise the right products, in the right way.
